A time of half-age

Okay, so all of you know that I has turned 15 on 10th of June. and I did not have time to make an entry because I was studying Physics and Geography for the next day LIKE MAD, but now I think it was worth it. :D
Anyway, thanks to everyone who said happy birthday to me. And for the presents!

so, basically what I got was from the following people. I wonder if I left anyone out:
Marc (he be the very first) - that cow doll over there
Syania - those two keychains at the edge
The school - EXAMS. dreadful, I know.
Nisa - a notebook and handphone accessory
Siti - a keychain. I have like another but it's a different one so I didn't mind~
Carisa and my mom - the big brown bag over there (I used it during the exams)
Saher - a wallet and a handphone accessory
Tresa - that smiley face wallet and the keychain beside it
Dinda - the small pink bag.

I wrote this in order of reactivity people who gave the presents to me. Of course, there's people who said congrats through SMS, but you know who you are, and I thank you. :D
the first one to send happy bday on SMS was Saher (00.00 am. I am not kidding), and Marc's was the most recent, I think. Somewhere along the line Hamzah, Syania, Lily, Tresa and Indira gave me an SMS too.
I thank you all >< (not to mention the people who said it to me face-to-face)

AND NOW THAT EXAMS ARE OVER, that should count as a birthday present, but the best one was from my computer who let me log in into my MSN~

okay, now the exams.
Geography was awesome. Yes, my hand did hurt and I had a bit of a strain somewhere, but it was okay. About 3 days later Mr Carver passed by me and said 'You did really well on the exam by the way' and I was like 'Really? awesome :D'. He was always a fast marker.

Physics overall I did good, I guess the hours and hours of studying paid off XD the Paper 1/6 was okay, since that's where I excel. Paper 3 was easier than I thought 0___0 but that's probably because I memorized all the formulas by heart.

1st Lang English was common sense as usual. and, like Geography, I had a strain on my hand somewhere. but then it left me about half and hour left (or was it 45 minutes?) to fiddle around. I think one of the boys fell asleep and Mr Pemberton had to wake him up. Good, clean source of entertainment.

MATHS. damn. The paper 2 was easy as hell, I wanted to fly throughout the hall when I finished it - BUT THE PAPER 4 WAS FREAKIN... weird. I missed out 23 marks out of 126 already (for sure) and Rawan was like 'You missed out 23 freakin marks FOR SURE?!' and I just laughed and hung my head in shame. -getshot-
but, really, loads of my friends found it confusing and hard. Maybe I should've asked one of the accelerated people to teach me.

DT... It was okay, really. but the first paper I did not finish at all. I missed around 22 marks. probably. 2nd paper was okay, I managed to make an Octagon out of a square side 110, and if I had time I would've finished drawing the net for the truck, but time ran out. =.= and I estimated the curves in B and S from the word VEGETABLES. sad life. that was the first exam that I actually didn't finish (second was math paper 4).

Chemistry was easier than I thought it would be. 0____0 Especially the paper 3, which mostly contained past paper questions which I learned. plus Macleod gave us some of the questions for revision, so it was fine. Paper 1/6 was mostly guesswork XD but I did analyse it through.

Biology was probably my most confident/easiest exam, other than English and ICT. I zoomed through the questions and had like 30 mins - 1 hour left over for me to sleep. (I slept on the paper 3 exams btw - Ina sat beside me and was surprised to see me sleep comfortably DURING AN EXAM but luckily I wasn't busted)

ICT gave me a strain. I think the exams which give me a strain on the hand were the ones that I found easy. XD
I forgot what URL stood for, and that made me lost A MARK -sobs-

I hear Carisa snoring right now and that indicates that she is having a good dream. :D

My msn is currently gay. I hate it so much now I feel like grabbing a moon and smash the software to the moon, if it can be touched.
Or I can send it back to time, 79 AD, when Pompeii was buried under Vesuvius. I'LL LET IT BURY THERE UNTIL IT IS DISCOVERED BY ARCHEOLOGISTS AND PEOPLE WILL MAKE IT THE FIND OF THE CENTURY-

okay, moving on.

Exams are coming up, and I'm starting revision 2 weeks early, surprise. XD
I just HAVE to get a B or above in the exams, if not I will condemn myself to nothingness. Although I don't have to worry much about some subjects.
I even bought this notebook for revision. XD

On piano, I'm learning this song called 'If I Were a Bird' from Code Geass. It's a nice song, and pretty easy since I learned the proper way to sight-read. It may not be the first proper song I learned, but it is going to be the first song that I like that I can play. (Road's song doesn't count, it's too easy)
After that, i'll probably learn To Zanarkand, though it's WAAAY beyond my level.

TV now I watch mostly the Roland Garros tournament in France, Tennis. HURRAY FOR FEDERER.~

If I do not pass my end of year exams with flying colors, I can't go to Japan to study. @_@

My sister blogged a lot these days. I have no idea why. And she's in the middle of her IGs. PHAEL

FIRST WORRY: I don't know whether to go on the UK trip or not now. My parents said if me and Carisa did they'd be stuck at home, which reminded me of the American trip. I felt a bit guilty. They deserve a bit of leisure sometimes, and now I'm worried. ><

FIRST WONDER: Because I was getting quite bored waiting for Naruto and Bleach to read, I'm reading Special A. IT'S SO CUTE! Usually Shoujo mangas don't really intrigue me (except Skip Beat and Vampire Knight) but S.A is just awesome. It's also heck funny. Carisa's getting tired of my laughs. I think.

SECOND WORRY: MY FARIKIN SECOND LANG IGs ARE TODAY and I am worried. YES I AM WORRIED. I don't know why. Halls make me feel so minor, it lowers my self-esteem. GYAA But let's hope I don't mess up. Amiin~

SECOND WONDER: I accidentally found in Deviantart about Nunnally's regret message to Lelouch. I think KL-chan posted it and made the video that came along with the soundtrack. it's so sad. Marsya you should watch it here. I should tell Ina and Ocha to watch it too.
I heard there was a Suzaku Version but I can't find it T_T
I was finding the Kagamine twins Regret Message song but instead I found that. it's a wonder in itself.

THIRD WORRY: On Saturday I have my piano concert. My very first. and I'm scared @_@ I only have one song to do, due to having others do it too (and better than me) but it's gonna be very scary. especially if lots of people are watching >< It's not at Maghrib, so it's okay. about... 5-6pm? hehe.

THIRD WONDER: I'm obsessed with Ai Otsuka now. Her song 'Cherish' was used for mikeinel's Draw with Me video. Since then I tried looking for her songs, and her 'Planetarium' one was used for Hana Yori Dango. :D
So yeah. Listen to Cherish. It's beautiful.

FOURTH WORRY: Recently I became too lazy to do any schoolwork. I don't know why. I guess I have no motivation. But going to Indonesia is one, and I wanna meet my friends in Balikpapan. They've been asking me in Facebook, and I don't want to disappoint them. @_@
But, will I go there?

FOURTH WONDER: Yesterday I went to Rani's house. Me and Dinda's family was there. Turns out Rani had many friends in the apartment she lives in, an I felt a bit jealous. here where I live, there's no one to play with. Unless if you count the guy beside me bedroom who keeps making noises all the time, no.
They were all really nice people. mostly Malay, but yeah. XD
And I never knew Bersetubuh dengan Bumi in Malay means Merayap in Indonesian. Not that i'm complaining, but...

FIFTH WORRY: from Rani's friend Lia, she told me that there was news that If a country opens Facebook the most, that country will be bombed. I AM FREAKIN SERIOUS. there's even the news. Her dad found it. At first she didn't want to believe it either, but after she saw the news with her own eyes, she accepted it. Considering a normal person wouldn't lie about this and facebook was made by a jewish person, it's not assuming too much. @_@
I'm scared to open Facebook now.

FIFTH WONDER: Because of the IGs, school became really deserted. Hardly anyone came, and some of my friends didn't come. I missed them a lot. and when I saw them on Saturday I felt relieved somehow. I know everything's gonna return to normal again, right? ^^

Craziness

Recently I've been into VOCALOID and Paramore. I liked Paramore since the American trip where my friend Sarah liked to nag about them, but it became apparent when I heard Salsa sing 'That's What You Get' at the Green Guitar and Lavinia singing 'Pressure' along with Adam and Arif during the Talent show. And after hearing the Paramore song (just now) in Adam's blog, I am really starting to like them. It may be like Hamzah's obsession with Melee?

Nah, not that extreme.
I shall download their songs at a later date. Hope it'll be soon. Any suggestions?

VOCALOID is a freakin synthesizing software. I am not freaking kidding you.
Many people mistake them for anime or game characters, WHICH THEY AREN'T mind you. They all have unique voices, especially the Kagamine's (despite having the same singer) and Hatsune Miku. ><
But, let's move on to my life.

I FINISHED MY BRONZE AWARD. HURAAY~
I am very proud of my professional blue book that is now sitting in my bag, waiting to be filled. Me and Saher finished our Bronze, Marshii still has a month to finish, and Siti has to re-do her skills. I feel sorry for her, but she can do it over the hols, I hope. Good luck Siti!

I met this VOCALOID fangirl from my Alkhorian friend Nabila whom I have never met but still we're buds. The girl's name is Anjanette (pretty unique) and she's pinoy, like Michah and Marc. SHE DOES NOT FOLLOW THE TRADITIONS OF PINOYS HAVING names that start with an M.
I haven't talked to her much yet, but I hope I will. ~ speaking of Alkhorians, I haven't heard of Fajria lately.

Today the yr 10 prefects were decided. Lily and Saher went in, so did Nisa and Marsya. awsome job guys >< I kinda wished that I applied too, but hey, I've got friends that already did. so no biggie.
I don't know about you Rawan, I haven't talked to you since first break. 0___0 you okay though? -crosses fingers-

IT WAS INA'S BIRTHDAY TODAY AND I FORGOT. DAMN YOU BRAIN.
I felt guilty that I didn't prepare anything for her, like for Farah's last birthday too. GRAAH. I am so stupid. Farah's card disappeared into thin air and I'm scared that one of my family threw it away. GYAAAA
But, happy birthday Ina! may I marry your brain?

We have to choose our DT projects for next year, and I've decided to do Display. It's half-advert and half-packaging, so I learn a bit from both. Pretty wise choice eh? HOHOHO.
At first I wanted to do Architectural Modelling but it's too precise to be my 'thingy'. Ina's drawings are always accurate and precise, making her want to do it. Her dad's an architect, so she can do it. How... uh... enak. yes, that's the word.

Ardinny is living here, as you may know from Carisa's bloggeh. I need not say more.

Syania likes my story. YAY! I feel okay now. I'm still taking Anty's and Hamzah's advice though, about my story. It's posted in Deviantart, but I may or may not post it here. :D -continues to post 2nd part-

I FINISHED ELDEST finally. I didn't have time to finish it before, but yes I finished it. SO SUSPENSING. I am so buying Brisingr if Hamzah does not finish his by the end of the month.

awesomeness of prediction

this weekend was a blast. I literally had so much fun that I lost track of time. ;D
so it was the Ghaza thingy. my singing performance went greater than I expected. and that's good. whew. the kids were cute >< and the guys were mighty.
all the badges that Marsya made were all gone. awesome. nisa's badge are okay so to support her I bought hers as well. bwhahahaha. some keychains weren't as fortunate to be sold so me and the gang decided to do the type of 'door-to-door' selling but this time we're not going through doors.
I might upload some photos to facebook but honestly I have a lot to catch up with uploading photos. i'll do them in this half-term break. so oh dear post of mine, please remind me.

i'm on a piano frenzy, srsly. i've been printing music sheets for the past days, and i'm trying to learn to read notes fast. even though if I know the first note I can play the whole thing through but still if I don't know the first note what am I to do. i'm trying to train myself with Lugia's Song.
I also need to memorize the black keys. graah.

i'm reading about 4 mangas right now and only 3 anime. awesome. but maybe I haven't counted the ones that are still continuing and well, yeah.

TAMORO I WER HARD ROOK CAPEI

since tomorrow in the preparations for the Qatar Charity thingy I have to wear brown. and my HARD ROOK CAPEI is awesomely from Boston and is brown. :D
I have 3 books to read now, having Angels and Demons, Labryinth and Eragon. by next week I have to finish them all.

TODAY THERE WAS A HUGE SANDSTORM WHICH COVERED ALL LAND AND SEE AND BLINDED MY EYES RED. NO, ORANGE ACTUALLY. NO YELLOW. ARGH WHATEVER
in ICT after the long explanations of a =VLOOKUP function which most of us took half the lesson to get, someone pointed outside that it was so yellow. Ms Beauchamp opened the curtains and a flash of light blinded the room @_@ although we were more scared than amazed. people said it was the end of the world XD

can Wednesdays be any more fun? that was an awesome after school. AWESOME. (oh God why am I becoming Newt)
I had to go to Music Club because Carisa has Music Club as usual. Mom doesn't like to go back and forth so WATTAHERU. and, as usual, I hung out with Indira and Ifa. also Mai and Michah. and I brought my awesome iPod stereo which I bought from America. sweet.

Syania spotted this vacant short hairy black office chair in front of the boys' break area and while she called for Hamzah to take a pic of it (I think) me and Indira carried it to the girls' break area where everyone is. it was quite heavy to carry - while Indira was on it - and noisy if we drag it, but anyways it was a chair of much importance. (LOL)
after me and Syania prayed it wasn't important anymore though.
there were also these girls who were fans of greenbag and they wanted to see him. well he wasn't there anyway :P so what was the point. -feels more knowledgeable about surroundings-

me and Indira and Syania sang Bunda before we had to pack up and leave, and before we checked out what Umar was playing on his slammin black electric guitar. (I imagined it blue HLOL)
I DID NOT KNOW KHALID AND FAJAR PLAY GUITAR ZOMG. but they don't know much yet XD just some basic chords, I think. I saw Fajar explaining to Khalid which chords are where, which I can only play on the piano -heaven music-

there was a point where Mr Bonnar came to check what we were doing and he played Umar's slammin electric black guitar and played it slammin-y. (WTH) then he checked out my slammin iPod stereo. :D isn't it awesome.
then for some reason me and Syania waited for Umar to pack up his stuff and amp, while Carisa 'bashed' Hamzah with her guitar. XD

today was quite confusing. we got our school pictures AND I SHALL BURN MIIINE.

well at magazine today it was so mixed up and beyond repair because us doing layouts did the layouts before the article itself was edited and checked. and mrs andrews rejected my american trip article and layout. -hiks-

oh well.


now i'm quite addicted to Soul Eater since Syania showed me the 2nd opening for it :D it made me laugh so hard until my sister had to tell me off. XD
it made me neglected Bleach and Skip Beat which isn't good D: maybe I should fix a time... hmm...
I'm thinking also to start my studies for end-of-year exams. I want to get As and Bs and maybe an A*, and I shall achieve. -botak emote-
this time my DT homework is somewhat fun, we just have to pour out our last possible ideas on a bag. :D other than the sciences which I actually have to study extra hard on ^^;

Kinou wa

yesterday was probably the day that taught me a lot of things.

we had a charity thing to do for Gaza and me, nisa, saher, rawan and lily went to farah's house - compound, really - from school. some of us had after school but we didn't go because we had to get lunch. so we walked to westbay. oh God it felt like IA again except with smaller bags (but a lot more to carry on hand) and when we arrived there were a lot of french school people. there were some that looked... cool. :D

then as we ate my mom came and we had to go to farah's house with an addition of my sister in the front.
when we arrived at her house we prepared to go about half an hour later. we were so ready and nervous. (wth ready and nervous) nisa held the posters, rawan - or was it lily - held the candies and saher had the balloon. I HAD MONEH *0*

there was a part where someone wanted us to go to jail because we were selling stuff. it made us shocked like hell and we were shivering but then the neighbor that was in front of the guy said it was okay and we're doing fine since it was for gaza. then they had a fight @_@ oh well, i've always wondered how that would've turned out.

then we sold some more before we had a slight confusion about the people who came. siti and amsyah couldn't come because they got lost, and decided to go home. afrina came though, and that was great. :D most of her wrapped candies were sold out since hers looked prettier. XD

before maghrib we had some kids following us around, they were damn annoying and when we finished they followed us in front of farah's house but stayed outside while we partied inside :P I hated those kids. excuse mii french.
we raised about 410QR, YAY! that's without siti's half of the candies. then we had fun in farah's house while telling stories and secrets. at that time I realized that these times will never come back, so i'll cherish them while I can.

and so during isya me and nisa went to salma's house because tante nana is our ticket home. too bad salma wasn't there - turns out she was at her friend's house. after somewhat a lecture from om sofyan, we went to muaithier.
when we arrived there was a number of people that I knew from school that turned out they were at the kompond for some apparent reason. I was so shocked and it was because I almost knew them all. there was camila, deema, luay, the mohameds (lol) and chris, I think. oh and maybe if i'm not wrong, feeraz. carisa and syania wanted to see mohamed jazali and i'm like @_@

so basically dnf nisa and carisa played basketball and me and syania were tired to we went inside to watch KHR. XD she drives me mad when she does since she multitasks. GYAA

it was a great day. :D

Shiro and Kuro

at school it was black and white day. it was pretty cool, and some people commented on my dress. :D cool eh. maybe it's because i'm stuck to T-shirts that they thought i'll never wear dresses... with jeans to go along with it. XD

who said I can't wear jeans with dresses?

i'm feeling dead these days, I don't know why. it's like something's preventing me from having a satisfying time at home. @_@ is it because of all the tests I have to do?
and since when did tests start at the early term anyways? =.= it's a crazy world.
my biology test was awesome, not as hard as I thought it would be. and i'll survive with a C at physics since I got a low B on the first half and a mid C on the second half. woot.~ not as bad as I predicted. HOHOHOHOHO
now my dreaded chemistry tomorrow - will I make it? sciences seem to be killing me.

I feel the need of Bleach and KHR. COME TO ME NOONA.

okay so this weekend me, nisa, saher, lily, ina, amsyah, farah, siti and marshii are going to do a charity thing in farah's compound aka salma's compound (according to nisa). it's getting hectic and somewhat confusing but I hope we'll make it through. @_@ :D we haven't even decided to day we're gonna do it, and most likely at thursday there'll be a pengajian and muaither or something so how are me and nisa going home?
... I'll just wait until we decide at school. XD

it's just Hana Kimi and Romeo and Juliet (TakkiMasami version) but still I hope it'll cure my boredom. SO not bothered to learn for Biology, although I did promise to work myself harder after the last D. oh well~ I'll get to work later.

now i'll have to settle with my speaker, which can emit sound over 1000 decibels in full volume, and the whole neighborhood will hear. hoo boy.

sooo, my 2nd half of physics you ask? 'ORRIBLE. the multiple choice was easy as hell, I got a B on that one. but I might as well get an E or maybe an F on the writing one, OR IN MY WORST CASE SCENARIO A U NOOOOOOOOOO!!
english was fine. we did Great Gatsby. I might as well read the whole book, it's that interesting. the wonders of english literature~ maybe i'll steal carisa's pride and prejudice to see how it's like.
ICT we did some stuff on logo. simple computer words to make drawings, pretty good. and I thank that small triangular turtle for always being with me in right or wrong. XD

so i'm addicted to skip beat right now, and it's amazing. *0* you guys should totally read it, I reccomend it badly. (I feel sorry for bleach because i'm neglecting it for now)

The Smiling Sky

school is normal these days. I'm getting used to it since the winter hols, although I really want that time back. oh well.
I've got a lot to do now, many stuff. there's an english essay which I have to write. honestly, give me the unit 2 courseworks already. I'd rather write stories rather than boring essays (which explains why my hook is an anecdote). @_@ and there's the ICT project, and DT idea presentation. looks like I have a lot to do over the weekend.

so, i've got a lot of reading in my schedule too.
Indira has my beloved Breaking Dawn, which I am planning to read after she gives it back to me. not to mention I haven't finished Labyrinth nor Fire Thief NOR Sabriel.
gotta get to the bottom of them.
and I just finished 2/5 manga that I read. Hachimitsu no Hana IS SO FREAKING CUTE. they're from the same scanlators as Akagami no Shirayukihime, so you can see the connection. ^^
School days is so depressing. I don't recommend that manga, never ever read it, nor watch it. EVER. trust me, it made me depressed to the core because of the ending.
whoever knew that a simple love at first sight can be so deadly?

on the other hand, Skip Beat and Bleach really brightened my days. although I finished Bleach I don't mind reading it a 1000 times, really. it's that amazing. Tales of Symphonia has finished in OneManga so I thought that i'd wrap it up. besides, it's a great story.

okay, so back to basics. just had physics test, incredulously easy although I didn't know some others because they were mostly unit 2. but anyway.

just realized how much yr11s there are in the indo gang. in my year it's only... 4, including me, and in yr9 there's quite a few. ><

oh, I'm also reading the diary of 1 Litre of Tears. it's so encouraging and sad, make me want to live on until my last.

another year

well, 2008 is over. pretty fast, wasn't it? well it was to me. this was my first year of year 10, and also the year I started RO and started to quit Gaia Online. I think.

many happy and sad memories. this year may not have been my best, but let's be glad i'm still alive kay. this year was also the most eventful. too many changes happening but i'm okay with it. in my whole life, i've learned to move on and i'm determined to do the same this time.

american trip - second

so, just though i'd continue stuff about my american trip.

3rd day
uhh... wait lemme sort out what I did on this day.

oh got it. :D we went to NBC studios. it was pretty cool, looking at studios and seeing presenters present. (wth)
I also got to know that in reality , studios aren't as big as we see on screen. IT'S A SCAM PEOPLE. they have crushed my dream T_T
I felt like taking pictures but since it's subject to copyright we weren't allowed. dammit.

later on in the day we went to central park. IT WAS HUUUUGE. I promise you i'll post pictures of it later on. it's so pretty <3 style="font-style: italic;">how encouraging am I.
then since it was so cold and the winds were picking up, we went next door to the metropolitan museum of art.~
oh and while I was walking up the stairs to go in the museum, an old man beside me JUST FELL OUT OF THE BLUE. (no, not out of the sky, I meant he tripped so suddenly it startled me)

and he was bleeding. 0_____0

ms sabbagh ran over to the man and asked if he was alright. I think he was crying? idk.
the boys wanted to help him up but the police got him and we were left to go inside.

so, the museum wasn't all that bad, but the sculptures are vulgar that I had to close my eyes. :D some painting were like that too. what's with romans and greeks out there...
then after we went out, we found out that the old man that fell was just brought in into the ambulance. we spent a freakin hour in that museum and the ambulance just came? hoo boy.
and I forgot about the rest of the day :D maybe carisa or andin can give a better explanation.

4th day
so, this day... we headed to washington. we watched national treasure one and two on the bus, which tells us mostly about america. which was great. GO NICHOLAS CAGE.
this day was full of memorials and stuff so although I did take lots of pictures, it was pretty normal. nothing really special.
except maybe the white house and embassy row :D

now, we went to the memorials of lincoln, kennedy, jefferson and roosevelt. also the war memorials of the korean and the iwojima war. many statues and quotes, nothing special much.
oh, a fact: did you know that the National Mall isn't a mall where we shop? :D it's a place between the lincoln memorial and washington monument. there's a huge pool in the middle. i'll give a picture~
and it's also the area between the smithsonian museums and the capitol - washington monument. I forgot which one XD

we only got to see the white house from afar, which wasn't all that great since I wanted to kill bush with a shoe. :D and maybe see obama.
oh speaking of obama, I found the obama bobbleheads. -gubrak- I thought it didn't exist and yet there it was. scary yarr? there was also mccain but his bobblehead was scary so I didn't buy.

okay, the embassy row was FAAAABULOUS.

SO, it was all the embassies of the world; I couldn't count. THERE WAS INDONESIA SO IT WAS FAAABULOUS. :DDDD
it also looked better than the one in qatar. ah america <3

american trip - intro

okay, so I changed my blog layout. pretty nifty yes?
thank god for XML documents. there are a few better ones but anyway they have been used by lots of people. (and this one isn't?)

well as most of you know, I went to the american trip and just came back about 2 days ago. and I just have one thing to say.
AMERICA IS SO COOL <3
although it was tiring and we had to walk more than 2 kilometres (-getshot-) it was loads of fun.

so, at the airport, we had to wait about... was it an hour... after we got in the immigration. the reason why was because some people got held up and interviewed because of their nationality. seriously, what the hell. the people who were checking our passports were scary @_@ it's like being in a police office. good thing I didn't get interviewed, or else i'd have a weird experience the first time I came to america in years.
New York looks exactly the same the way I remembered it. especially Little Italy.
we ate at this restaurant in Little Italy - an italian restaurant, duh - and the waiters were so gay. (gay in 2 different ways. XD) oh and:

Lily: the waiters here are so gay. (gay as in happy)
one of the waiters: *looks at lily and most possibly thinking 'I am SO not gay'*
Lily: *shuts mouth*

since here in Qatar we say gay as in happy, well in america it's different. DIFFERENT.
then after that we went on the bus back to the hotel, sorting ourselves out and sleep. I was one room with marshii and lily while carisa was with andin and these egyptian sisters. we slept in a hotel in New Jersey, which is not New York. -keeps mental note-

2nd day? pretty cool. we went to the ferry to go to the Statue of Liberty. on the boat it was DAMN COLD - I felt like dying. not to mention the fact when the big horn on the boat got off it startled us all. but I got used to it right after XD since i'm surrounded by loud voices all my life. -coughcarisacough-
then after we went to the statue of liberty we were dropped off into Battery Park, which we didn't have enough time for sight-seeing. and the group was separated because it was very crowded. @_@ so we walked into wall street (I finally remembered why it was called wall street - so many freakin walls honestly) and arrived at this harbor.

I shall call it Peking harbor for the fact that there was a ship called Peking there. lily was shocked and took many pictures of it. :D

then we had time to eat and shop for about an hour or so. I managed to buy a game which I didn't start yet, though I should. AND THERE'S NO FREAKIN SUMMON NIGHT 3 SJDFVBKJRVFKHBV.
there was only summon night 1 and 2 which I already have. dammit.
and so, we gathered in front of that peking ship and then it was our time to go. our bus broke down for some apparent reason and we had to switch buses. good thing I didn't leave anything on the last bus or else i'd panic. :D

then we had a tour of uptown, midtown and downtown of New York. we also saw ground zero - the terrorist attack site - and it was just a construction site, nothing special yet.
and I just knew that the north of SoHo is NoHo. ISHDHAKAL.
there was also a district in brooklyn called DUMBO. -ahhahahahahaha- it stands for... for... district umbala manhattan broadway order? :D

then we went to times square. IT WAS SO SHINY *0* AND I LOVED IT. too bad we didn't get to shop there or else i'd have no money left. (is that a good thing)

then after dinner we went to... BROADWAAAAAY~
we watched spamelot and it was so funny, although I slept for a while because I was tired. then I woke up during the gay scene. :D
when we walked out it was snowing. too bad it didn't cause sheets of snow the next day. T_T

International Award

okay, so last week I went on expedition. it was pretty cool.
now, since it was liek a gabazillion seconds ago, I might not remember stuff. :D

FIRST.
okay, well school went okay as usual. me and my group were nervous about the expedition. well it was our first one anyway - so we were scared.
then 12:45 struck and off we went.

we didn't have time for lunch nor solat. D< but I managed to finish about 3/4 of my lunch before it was my group's turn to go. so yeah. we all put on our bags (they were FREAKIN HEAVY... or not) and off we went.
we arrived at the first checkpoint 5-10 minutes later. (LOL WHUT)
then we walked to the next checkpoint for about an hour? I forgot. :P during that time we complained about our bags and marshii was already complaining about her feet. -_-
OOH OH AND THERE WAS THIS SCENE when we were walking happily and gaily (IS THAT EVEN A WORD) and a freakin landcruiser was chasing us with 2 qatari peeps in it.
and so all 4 of us actually went into a formation and went the other waaay~ (excluding marshii who actually went to talk to them =.=) so because of her we found out that they were actually police and wanted to ask u to leave the area because 'important peeps' are coming. (UN anyone?)
my shoulders started to feel sore when we arrived at the 2nd checkpoint. when we arrived, we banged our bags to the floor. :D
and after a short break we went back to walk.

now, the way to the 3rd checkpoint WAS HELL. @_______@
it was the longest distance we had to travel. crossing 2 bridges, ignoring some indians who asked us for water on the way. I forgot what they said but I think it was...
'namibich'? :D 'nanimitch'?
well something liek zat.
anyway, by passing 2 bridges on the way and getting lots of honks and stares, we were almost to the 3rd checkpoint.
AND WE GOT LOST. 0_____0
well basically the part where we had to take the inner road we instead too the main road with lots of sand. we had to go back and take the inner road and reach the checkpoint.
we also met the boy's group of 5.. or was it 4... people. both groups reached the checkpoint safely. -nodsnodsnods-

then, we walked nonstop to the 4th checkpoint. if the 3rd checkpoint was hell, this was the pit of hell. =.=
the 3rd checkpoint was like waaaaaay over here and the 4th checkpoint was waaaaaay over there. (geddit? :D) and because it was a shorter distance then 2nd to 3rd we walked nonstop and no resting. the boys, on the other hand, rested a lot. lame. :P
when we arrived we took like a 10-minute break. hahaha. I almost slept from the tired-ness.
then, we took ages to find the campsite - I held the compass and it was dark, so yeah.
we just kept walking to the watch tower and when we almost reached we found it. BIG COINCEDENCE. haha.
not to mention it was dark and we were tired. 3 groups including mine arrived at the same time.
IT WAS HEAVEN *0* it felt like a huge boulder was lifted from me and I walked with a gay face to the campsite. :D

we just set up our tents and we ate immediately after me and saher went to pray zuhur, ashar, and maghrib. hayah.
the hot chocolate was good~ the joy of camping.
then the night was spent with this activity where we had to make up something like a morse code of our own and do it with our flashlight. we suceeded in all 26 letters and I still remember them all. :D
then all of the girl's groups did truth or dare in a circle and told some ghost stories. KEHEKEHEEKEH. then we all went to sleep. honestly, everyone was fast asleep until morning. guess we were that tired. XD
then the next day we just packed up and went home.
SCHOOL NEVER LOOKED BETTER HONESTLY. :D


and that's it. :P I don't bother going into all the details except the fact that we got more than 30 honks and waves and stares. or maybe even more. -hohohohohohohohohohohohoho-

friday

okay, there are 3 main things that I MUST talk about. :D

first, the morning walk. the air in the morning is so refreshing ~ since I have a balcony I feel it everyday but still I don't exercise much.
so, when I arrived at the corniche, almost everyone was already there. mostly muaither peeps. and yeah, they started the walk JUST AFTER I joined em. kehkeh.
we kept walking while taking pictures, then until the orry statue we all went back. the guys wanted to go on but we were told to come back for breakfast so yeah. when we came back, most of the mats were inhabited by grown-ups so we had to sit on the grass (still, it was shady :D). fajar and umar were sittin on a bench (lucky them =.=) and hamzah was being emo under a palm tree. ~
after we ate we just talked and did stuff. the isyna kids were climbing trees (excluding hamzah I think?) and me + the others just looked on em. khalid's pose on the tree was mantap. XD
the pictures we all took turned out great~ there was one where me and carisa did a cartwheel in the sunrise and we did the exact same pose midair. I think syania has it in her facebook? :D?
you shall see pictures in anyone's facebook about the morning walk ja peoples. I has no facebook and so I do not have a life. :D
I mostly hung out with nisa, dhe3, dinda, indira, syania and other peeps. <3 wait actually I hung out with everyone. bwhahaha.

okay, after the morning walk and we all came home at lunch probably. I arrived at 10 am and an hour later dhia came for a photoshoot. :D carisa and dhia did most of the photoshoot since I am not good at those kind of stuff.~ though I did one picture and that was that.
the burst photos were HILARIOUS. that was the only thing I regretted not doing. the rest it's okay because I think I am not photogenic XD
what was I doing? well, basically just playing this RPG called Ice and Dark. it's so sad T_T I finished it in 1 day. I got it off a forum where the community make the RPGs with this program called RPG maker VX. pretty cool eh? the games are amazing there.
eventually I joned the forum and my role is just a writer for the stories.

the night following my mom and dad had a pengajian in muaither and so I went to nisa's house to do meh DT hw. it was a perspective room. ~ we promised that morning that we'd do them together 'cause we just needed to do em. :P
we started them after we randomly went to syania's house for no apparent reason. when we came back to her house hamzah was sitting on (on? I mean in front of) nisa's piano. then we decided the start working on the hw.
later on khalid and umar and farah tagged along. mostly me, nisa, hamzah and farah talked about random stuff. it was fun though XD
and I guess that's about it.

2 days ago was school fair. :D it was normal. though honestly last year was more fun, but I got experience in this year's skul fayah.

anyway, I got 2 balloons from mullineux's stall and got tresa twice and mr carver twice when I threw them sponges. XD
the french cafe was cool ~ great job dhia + farah.
most of the day I hung out with hamzah syania and afif but I got to talk with my school friends too. also my fellow indo-ers. kehkeh.

I brought muffins for my stall. :D

ANYWAY, MOVING ON PEOPLES.
how long has it been? more than the usual 4 days I guess. yesterday at saturday the whole day I was busy. kaifa was normal, we still begadjulan as ever. :P after that I got some time before I went to piano (to make up for my missed lesson on tuesday). apparently andin was there when I came - her mom was in the car; and at the end om susilo was in HIS car so dhe3 or rania must've been there as well.

motivation :D

I had too many things in school going on that I forgot to type about SBM. well, basically it was pretty cool. I enjoyed the presentation. some pretty cool stuff about paradigm. while I was amazed by it, andin and tresa said that there's this book about the seven habits or something, and they said it's amazing. I think it was andin that has the book, and I said that i'll borrow it from her one day. XD

almost everyone was there, and it was cool. I got to meet new friends and chat with the usually-friendly-but-not-really-our-gang people (including: ddol, boi, etc etc). elang was there too and he's chatty as usual. I chatted with him a lot with syania.

because of that experience we got to learn how different we are from other people, including our friends. and wth I am good at coaching? hell no. I suck at those kind of things :P
and there was a time when we were all eating and me, dhe3, hamzah and jihad were discussing school trips. dhe3 told me that george sampson's DVD will be released and I promised her that i'll buy it when i'm in the USA. :D now I have something else to add to my must-buy-when-in-USA list.
jihad also said the reason he joined science club was because of ms macleod XD I lol-ed.

not much to say as about now, but I am very certain that I phail at my end of term tests. i'll have to be ready for my mom's lashes of words at me.
and also, I started to read bleach. it is so hell funny and serious at the same time, I love it.

this week, these school days

uh, apparently it will take too long if I summarise the week so i'll just do after school activities I guess. (can you actually resist typing EVERYTHING? -grins-)

I started chess in wednesday. it was pretty cool. me and marshii were having layout issues for the magazine and we stayed after school, dragging syania. and I had to stay up late at night to finish some. now I still got about 2 to finish, but anyway.
marshii somehow wanted to join the chess club, and I thought hey, why not. i'll join too. she was all gay and happy and I couldn't reject. ;P we were with syania and carii and hikmah. apparently they wanted to do music in the girl's break area, where the other guys usually hang out. I think the reason was you know who. carisa and syania insisted that they wanted to go there, despite syania's feud (lol feud. fight would be a proper word...) with fajar.
when we stomped into the girl's area I felt fajar's glare at me. scary as I was, I actually went (read: ran) to the library just to find something to read, then that's where I found the chess club. me and marshii laughed quite hard in there and mr johnson shushed us. ah well. then we joined in and marshii played with mr johnson (she lasted a whole minute against him. cool.) while indra then came in and I played with him. we were even 0____0 to our surprise. we didn't finish our game and it was time to go home. ha. he said we'll continue next week since thursday he had badminton.

at thursday I went to chess. indra told me it'll be better for me to go to badminton but since I didn't bring my PE kit I couldn't. so I went to chess. marshii had swimming with nisa.
I saw indra cream iwan and that's when syania and carisa came in to fetch indra to badminton. it was fun seeing iwan's frustrated look when he lost his 2 knights XD then indra had to go.
a minute later lavinia came in and played a game against this yr 12/13. then she went to badminton as well, I think. but judging by syania's entry, she must have.
then I played this year 7 dude while iwan played another dude. I lost, but he said I was hard to beat. the game between me and him took 30 minutes 0____0
then mr johnson fought this guy and lost. my jaw dropped. I think he was in my year... i've seen him with hamzah or somebody. though maybe I am wrong. during the match he said 'poon' instead of 'pawn', so me and the others laughed at mr johnson's comment on that.
what surrised me was that mr johnson wasn't scared to say mild bad words. like ass, and some things. it was a good game nonetheless.
almost during the end, mr johnson asked me to get the library keys from the front security gate. while I did, the football guys including fajar, khalid and hafiz came out to go home. at that time fajar glared at me for a while. I looked at my watch, pretending to check the time when actually I was scared. he looked away to talk to khalid and hariz.
then I got the keys and it was time to go home.


now, because of chess and my intention to join badminton, I have to go home at 2 every school day. @_@
well I might get something good out of this. :D
